Campout
This program is essentially a more advanced version of "Intro to the Basics" with actual overnight camping. If you want to learn the basics and also wish to be in a camp out experience I recommend coming out for a one or two night camp out. If you have the time this is by far the best way to learn because you are immersed in the experience and it's easy to relax because you are on nature's clock. It is intense and often exhausting, learning so much new information but it is also incredibly relaxing to slow down and move at the pace of the wilderness and forget about all of your busy cares back home.

The outing will vary depend on your previous experience and enthusiasm. Typically we will spend two nights in shelters we build from scratch while spending much of the day setting up a primitive camp. We will bring food for our meals and backup gear for emergency. We will cover: -Shelter - Fire by Friction - Collecting Water - Making String - Constructing Containers. If time permits, we may cover tracking and hunting techniques.

Ages:12&up
Time: 2 days/2 nights
